Julie Sappington is an independent educational consultant and SAT/ACT tutor.
As a lifelong learner, she is passionate about sharing knowledge widely.
After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in French, she spent several years working in admissions offices at three different universities: international admissions at Savannah College of Art and Design, domestic admissions at The American University of Paris, and domestic application reading at the University of California-San Diego. Simultaneously, she studied at the New School to earn a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Today, she is a student of colleges and continues her education through frequent conferences, presentations, and college tours. When not college counseling, you can find her at an art studio, walking her dogs, or spending time with her family.
